As ASCO 2018 begins, PHRMA report outlines 1100 drugs in development for cancer
As tens of thousands of cancer professionals head off to Chicago for ASCO meeting this week, PHRMA releases new report outlining over 1100 drugs and vaccines in development.
"America's biopharmaceutical companies are developing 1,100 medicines and vaccines for cancer, all of which are in clinical trials or awaiting review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The report outlines all medicines including their product name, sponsor, indication and development/phase."
ASCO, American Society of Clinical Oncology, annual meeting begins this weekend in Chicago. There is sure to be lots of news about the drugs mentioned in this report.
